Continuous Reaction Test

A reaction test that is continuous (never terminates), collects reaction time data, and could be synced into audio telemetry. Created to provide supplemental data for epilepsy monitoring to detect if / when patients experience loss of awareness or slowing reaction times during their seizures. The app is designed to emit different sound cues that could be picked up by audio recordings taken in an epilepsy monitoring unit. Hopefully, this will allow testing of patients with relatively spare seizure events without requiring the constant presence of a hospital staff member.

A cue will be presented at a regular interval (configurable) with a clicking sound. When the response time is within the slowness threshold (configurable), the app emits a hit sound. When the response time exceeds the slowness threshold, the app emits a warning sound. When the cue expires after a time delay (configurable) due to lack of response, the app emits a shrill alarm sound. For the sake of the sanity of all those around, the app will pause alarms after 3 consecutive alarms (or 6 slow responses). Alarms resume upon the next successful hit interaction.

The app offers a reaction test with randomized cue locations (skeet) and a clicker test.
